Hebridean Tweed Cloth
Woven in a traditional herringbone pattern on the Isle of Mull, with Hebridean fleece gathered from Yorkshire, this beautiful heavy tweed cloth has a great structure and natural lustre making it perfect for many different items of clothing from skirts, dresses and trousers, to jackets, waistcoats and accessories, whilst also being suitable for upholstery and homewares.
The natural shade is a very dark pitch brown flecked with silver fibres that catch the light. It is this magical colour that always makes me catch my breath with the Hebridean wool textiles we produce; their ability to appear different under varying light conditions moving from almost black to brown-tinted greys.
Measuring 142cm / 56" wide, the cloth is available in multiples of quarter metres. Orders will be cut as one continuous length. Please ensure you have calculated the correct amount when completing checkout as cut lengths are non-refundable.
Due to the weight of the tweed, if you require more than 3 metres please email us so we can organise alternative shipping for you: info@daughterofashepherd.com
