Woven on the Isle of Mull and finished in the Scottish Borders, using pure Hebridean wool sourced from a flock employed for conservation grazing at a wildlife reserve in Nottinghamshire, Agnes showcases this naturally dark fibre in a blanket made to treasure and last a lifetime.
With exquisite provenance and 100% traceability from sheep to finished product, I am so proud to launch this new Daughter of a Shepherd strand into the world as part of our "72" label. Peppered with naturally occurring silver fibres, the deep pitch brown of the Hebridean fleece has been woven then brushed to create a soft and cosy fabric which is finished at either end with a fringe, and available now as a limited first run.
