Sourced, scoured and spun in the UK
Drover is constructed from 3 plies of high twist, worsted spun fibre with a pinch of nylon to create a hardy sock yarn also suited to accessory and garment knitting.
Available in six natural, un-dyed fleece shades:
Whernside; dark, Hebridean + Zwartbles
Ingleborough; mid grey, Hebridean, Zwartbles + Exmoor Blueface
Pen-y-Ghent; light grey, Hebridean, Zwartbles + Exmoor Blueface
Buckden; palest grey, Hebridean, Zwartbles + Exmoor Blueface
Drumaldrace; neutral, Hebridean, Zwartbles + Exmoor Blueface
Roseberry Topping; tri-coloured marl, Hebridean, Zwartbles + Exmoor Blueface
For environmental reasons and to preserve the natural lustre of the fibre we do not scour after spinning so it is important to wash swatches to achieve a correct gauge measurement.
