A limited edition spin recreating our very first yarn to celebrate the Daughter of a Shepherd 10th Anniversary. Grade 1 Hebridean fibre from the North of England is gently processed in Yorkshire then worsted spun as a 3ply by John Arbon Textiles in Devon.
The overall colour is a complex and natural, dark pitch brown shot through with natural silver fibres. A soft handle produces a fabric with bounce and structure that will look good as new for years to come. Each skein retains its original (and famous) signature scent of the fields, flock, and new lambs in straw-filled barns.
Please note: This yarn does not have a secondary scour after spinning so we recommend you wash swatches and allow the yarn to bloom to obtain an accurate gauge.
