Near the Bear, North by Mick Manning

Near The Bear, North is an alphabet book of fauna and flora from the North of England to Arctic Scandinavia, inspired by illustrator and artist Mick Manning's travels in the northern latitudes.

Using the craft process of pochoir, a method of building up layers through stencils, Manning has alphabetised the animals, fish, birds and fauna using their Latin names.

This is a beautiful large format, hardback picture book for adults and children.
