Urban Knit – Modern Nordic Patterns by Leeni Hoimela

Urban Knit is a collection of modern designs by Leeni Hoimela, photographed in the capital city of Finland, Helsinki.

Patterns include simple, timeless and stylish sweaters, socks and accessories all worked with contemporary methods. Finishes and details adhere to a vision of quality handmade garments that become everyday essentials and tie in with modern street fashion. Leeni Hoimela’s knitting patterns have appeared in Laine and on the covers of German Making Stories magazine, Finland’s leading craft magazine Suuri Käsityö and Finnish Taito magazine. From nine to five, Leeni Hoimela works as a lifestyle journalist and photographer.
